Vote Brian Buchanan

Brian Buchanan for Boone County Council

Update: Good news! Voters in the May Republican primary have nominated Brian to serve on Boone County Council! Thank you for your support, and we look forward to November’s general election!

Welcome! Thanks for stopping by my official campaign site.

My name is Brian Buchanan and I am seeking to become an At-Large member of the Boone County Council. I am running for this elected office because my family and I love Boone County, we plan on living here the rest of our lives, and I want to help shape the future and have a positive impact on our local community.

Buch-Farm-2Overall, the county is in stable financial condition and has many great things going for it. However, creative solutions, bold decisions, and big ideas will be needed in the future. With an increasing population, new development, and continually tightening local budgets, we will have serious challenges that will confront us.

Growing up in an agricultural family, I understand the rich tradition and heritage of agriculture and its importance to local communities. Agriculture is the backbone of our county. Additionally, working in business today, I appreciate the need for economic development and the role it plays in sustaining local communities. My commitment to economic growth earned me the endorsement of the Zionsville Chamber of Commerce in April.

Boone County is a wonderful place with a bright future. If elected, I promise to work diligently to see the county continue to prosper.

I would appreciate your vote in November!
